You can catch a glimpse of the sparks through the small hatches of the antique doors, as they leap from the open fire. The historic spruce floor tells the story of bygone days, the cladding of the fireplace that of an ancient Belgian street. The large glass pane invites your thoughts to wander into the vast mountains of Arosa.
Life is lived here, at the heart of our chalet. Over a cup of tea with selected blends – lovingly curated by the experts at Paper & Tea. Served with delicious pastries, homemade pasta or a platter of speciality meats from the Grisons, cut wafer-thin on our Berkel slicer. Don’t forget a glass of something lovely from the wine cellar – to put a smile on your face.
Only the crackling of the fire, the rustling pages of a book or an inspiring discussion can penetrate through the calm. The lounge also offers a library for you to browse through, full of books that are sure to leave a lasting impression. Strategists, meanwhile, can play a game of chess or cards.
For once, there’s no rush – in this enchanting place where guests are welcome to gather, but are by no means obliged to.
