Arosa Bärenland – Wildlife Encounters at 2,000 Metres

In winter, the bears retreat into deep hibernation. In summer, they wander across the meadows at 2,000 metres above sea level. This pioneering project by the animal welfare organisation Four Paws (Vier Pfoten) has captured attention across Switzerland. Most importantly, it brings joy to children, who can see bears that once endured a difficult life in captivity now living in a near-natural environment.
